The vocational training at Marian Women Development Centre at Sarupathar offers diploma courses in tailoring, knitting and weaving. The centre trains the candidates in other income generating activities like food processing, making candles, rosaries, surf and dish wash. Majority of the girls who come to this centre are either illiterate or school drop outs. College students and house wives too are interested in this training programme offered at this centre.

Many of those who completed the course have become self dependent and are capable of setting up their own small enterprises to earn their livelihood.
